Prepare a bid-specific manufacturer authorisation for an identified reseller, with explicit scope and validity. This tool prepares a draft for review and signature; it does not issue government approval or verify the factual declarations.
Prepare your OEM / reseller authorisation draft
Complete the fields, review the statement, then download PDF or editable Word. Entries stay in this tab; no account or upload is required.
The manufacturer/OEM must authorise and sign this letter. It is not a GeM reseller pairing code and does not grant platform approval.
Review your unsigned draft
Check every statement against the official annexure, supporting evidence and signatory’s authority. Use the required letterhead and sign/stamp before submission.
Official reference checked#
The starting reference is the ICAT official GeM tender, Form XIII: Manufacturer Authorisation. It is a source format for the stated workflow, not a universal current annexure for every bid. The generator adapts the structure and keeps signatures blank. Use the exact buyer/assessment format if it is mandatory.
Bid authorisation and platform authorisation are different#
A bid-specific manufacturer letter states what the named reseller is authorised to do for the identified tender. A GeM VA/VAE reseller authorisation has a separate purpose. The official GeM docket, Annexure VII requests category/brand, OEM identity, authorised reseller and validity for that assessment workflow. A letter does not replace GeM dashboard pairing or an authorisation code. Read the GeM OEM guide for the distinction.
This generator prepares a bid-specific draft. Quote-only authority is the default; choose negotiation and contract authority only if the OEM expressly approves it. The manufacturer’s authorised signatory must sign on the required OEM letterhead. A reseller cannot create genuine OEM authority by signing the OEM’s name.
Before signing and uploading#
- Confirm the correct legal entity, bid and recipient.
- Verify the factual statements and the signatory’s authority.
- Compare the draft with the prescribed annexure and complete any additional clauses or attachments.
- Apply the required letterhead, signature, seal and any notarisation or independent certification.
- Retain the approved version and supporting evidence with your bid records.
Privacy and downloads#
Entries remain in the current tab and are not uploaded or saved to browser storage. Reloading clears the form. The form and preview are masked for the site’s Clarity session recording. PDF, Word and print drafts are unsigned; editable Word files let you align wording with the exact annexure.
